Brief Resume:
I attended
Lakeland College where I received my bachelor degree in
Elementary/Middle Education with a minor Computer Science. Currently
I am pursuing my master’s degree at
Lakeland College. In addition to
teaching fourth grade, I am also the 8th Grade Basketball coach at
the Middle School. |

Introduction to class:
The fourth grade
science units include: animal studies, rocks and minerals, electricity,
and land and water study. In social studies we study Wisconsin. Language
Arts includes: reading, guided reading, 6 traits of writing, and working
with words. We also study everyday mathematics and we emphasize working
with numbers including fractions, decimals, and percents. Students are
encouraged to use various algorithms for solving problems. By the end of
4th grade, students should have mastered their basic skills in math. |
