Brief Resume:

After graduating from college in 1993, I subbed in the Milwaukee area and suburbs. After the birth of my first son, I taught preschool in a daycare. Then I worked in banking, but found education was where I wanted to be. I taught in Milwaukee for four years. Then I subbed in Cedar Grove and surrounding areas for two years. I have been teaching third grade here since 2007.

Introduction to class:

Third grade is a year of many changes and adjustments. Students are learning to be more independent and responsible. We cover many things in math, including computation, especially multiplication, fractions and measurement. We have a great hands-on science program including units on chemicals, plants and sounds. Students continue working on language arts and reading skills, choosing chapter books, and possibly writing books of their own.
