Brief Resume:

  I grew up in this area attending school in Oostburg. I graduated from UW-Stout with a B.S. degree in Early Childhood Education in 1986. My teaching experience included teaching 5-K in Sheboygan for 1 year, 5-K in Oostburg for 2 years and then starting up "Circle Time Preschool" in which I was the owner/operator for 3 years. 1999 is when I started teaching 4-Year-Old Kindergarten here at Cedar Grove back when it was first adopted in the district.
 

Introduction to class:

      The 4-Year-Old Kindergarten program is split between AM and PM classes. My goal is to meet the cognitive, language, social and motor needs of all 4 year old children in each class.
In my classroom the students have the opportunity to explore, discover, create, and engage in many different age-appropriate activities. They will learn practical life skills and values through a thematic based curriculum utilizing multiple learning centers and constructive play in both large and small group settings. As the students learn new skills and discover their talents, they have the opportunity to work cooperatively with their classmates and form new friendships. All of these experiences will help them when they transition to 5-K next year. As your child's first teacher, I try to make their first school experience fun and memorable and turn them on to learning!
