Brief Resume:

Hello, I am Jane Herzog and I really enjoy teaching 3rd graders! They are
inquisitive, fun and increasingly independent. I graduated from UW-Sheboygan and UW-Whitewater. My previous teaching experiences were in 1st and 4th grade at Random Lake Elementary and substitute teaching in all subject areas and grade levels. I started teaching full time at Cedar Grove-Belgium Elementary in 2002.

Introduction to class:

We start everyday with grammar followed by math. In third grade multiplication and division is introduced. Reading and science follow our
morning recess. Through experimentation we study plant growth, chemicals, the solar system,  states of matter and sound. Learning the six traits of writing helps us write complete essays. In social studies we cover map skills, different cultures, supply and demand, immigration, community, and government. There is also time for computer, library, art, music, gym, and recess.
